    Alpari US charts frozen?

I have a demo account with Alpari and also a live mini account that I use for charting. Friday, about 30 minutes later NFP came out, all charts froze. The link was nice, the charts just stopped on the live account as well as the demonion. Alpari hasn't responded to queries yet.

    Anyone else experience this?

This is a common fault on US and Alpari Uk. They cannot handle big price movements and their entire system hangs or stops, also on live accounts.Nightmare if you have to trade out of a position.

After BIG statements I have noticed that some brokers will suspend their charts - Grrrrr!!! - Alpari does it So does FXDD - I'm comparing brokers to find non-freeze guys. - I feel the only demo I had that did not suspend was MB Trading.
I guessed they froze it on purpose, especially since they did not respond to my query. My charts with MB were fine.

Of course they did! All Brokers fear that the NFP release. Almost all opt from that release by blocking any transactions. Still another reason to distrust all US based Brokers! And with an NFA listing is as valuable as a 3 dollar bill. I wonder if FXCM froze up their charts? LOL ! When A Broker freezes their feed-they have been in the process of depositing cash from your trading account(or trying too). If it occurs more than once-why would anyone use them to trade? I will tell u why-because Forex traders arn't as smart as their Brokers. They control your trading account, accountfeed. And whenever your account balance reaches zero, you naturally blame yourself for dumb mistakes and re-fund your account. Congrats-you are the Fantastic Forex Trading Fool.

Dude, if you trade with ECN brokers, then it'll be OK.

ECN brokers like MB trading or IB, doesn´t suspend.
Not many US brokers are poor!

    Hello Men,

I'm also using an Alpari-US demo account for charting. I opened it with no problems, everything ran fine. This morning thing. However, once I tried to get on tonight I get an'Invalid Account' error. A buddy of mine who's had a demo account with them for quite a few years today is experiencing exactly the exact same thing.

Anybody else with this problem? . I'm wondering if its some sort of difficulty with Alpari-US? . Alpari-US an email was sent by me in relation to this problem. I'll repost once I get a response.

    Thanks much,
    ~Steve

Yeah, I had exactly the exact same thing , but I think that is because they were shut. Everything is ok today.

By the way, I DO trade having an ECN, MBT, and have never had a problem with them. I use Alpari strickly for the charts and those days are coming to a close because MBT is starting MT4.

I did get a response from Alpari. They stated the charts didn't freeze, it had been an error spike on two pairs. They didn't state which pairs and I guess when your charts ceased moving and the price is stuck in one loion, that is a spike, not suspended.

    This type of BS.
I'm sure they shed more about this freezes then make. It due to the system overloading although not because they're attempting to perform against you.

I am certain they lose more on this freezes then make. It because of the machine overloading although not because they're attempting to perform against you.
Im sure they enjoy u over at Alpari-how many times have u sent them cash
? You represent their Perfect Client. I hope I am wrong and u clean them out. Of course, I understand that it is the Broker that will gut your bank account rather. Fantastic luck.
