    Bastard brokers

Ok, I'd like to think of Saxo as a respectable broker until they took over #27,000 in my profits, gave no credible explanation aside from pricing error and refuse to give a detailed explanation.

    And

Once I had a position open two days ago, their site went down and I dropped over #400 and they refuse to acknowledge that I was untouched and refund my losses.

I got no where with customer support and that I sent an email to their own compliance officer but he has not replied. The following step is to speak to the FSA / Ombunsdman, etc.. , also, they never gave any motive.

Additionally, I had a buddy who was trading had his profits taken away this afternoon and the explanation they gave was pricing error.

Currently, lets share experiences and list all of the deceptive Brokers on this thread.

Thanks for the offer but I am sorting out this through my folks and individual means although I have not heard anything from them in over a month although I have been escalating the matter through the chain of control.
You got stiffed for 27K over a month ago? And you also got stiffed a few days ago? Why in the world are you trading with them? Just saying.

Keep the strain and don't give it up. That's what they are hoping for. I hope it goes in your favor.

Also, try your home state Attorney General. The more activity you can generate, the better. The AG will probably, at a minimum, send out a few letters. Depending upon your state, although it's an outside of state/country matter, your state AG may be able to protect against a foreign company from doing business in your state. That's a pretty major hammer.

Me Also , I Expect the issue gets resolve to a favor

Actually, I think in the united states, using an ECN they are permitted to revert transactions that are confused, while dealing desks are not.

    It's the new rule....
Good clarifiion of the rules, thanks.

As I had said to in a different thread, I also had a'data feed' error with the'outfit' in query.
Not to be a fear monger but, was never solved to my own liking.
    C'est la vie.

, I really do expect the problem does really get solved to a liking

    Regards.

I have had some critical problems of late with oanda,...
Your measurement of whether a broker is dirty or not is if they allow you to withdraw funds? Wow...

I have had some serious problems of late using oanda,...
It does not get curved they are only adding the spread. I find that annoying. They have lots of complaints from novice traders that do not know the impliions of the bid/ask spread and mid-price candlestick charting so they changed this behaviour. But you are still able to modify the order concerning the price that you desire.

I've had some serious issues of late with oanda,'' They aren't a filthy broker as I have used them for over 4 decades now and never had a problem transferring cash into my bank account. Anytime.
The problem is they're getting not so clean, Perhaps you noticed when you put in a stop loss worth it is not longer accurate but piled. I.E you put in a stop of 50 pips and in your ticket is states 54.7 pips. 4.7 more pips to get oanda. Additionally this happened to me yesterday and I'm still trying to sort this out together, Entered two places...
oanda should just charge a comm rather than playing with these games to make money, here's the problem, there propagates are so cheap its hard for them to cancel these trades to there LP with a profit, which means they play small games to compesate for that.

I've had problems with oanda before in which a transaction was screwed up and lost money. However, Oanda reimbursed it back without even me complaining first. So you got your diamonds from the rough.

Also this happened to me and I am still hoping to type this out together, Entered two places at several times a AUD/USD and long USD/CAD. Though the ticket and platform both said they had been long positions they had been really short places. Since the price moved in my favor I was really losing money. Never-ever has that happened to me personally.

Ok confused, how do they return 27K did they offset a lot of your profitable trades?? On what earth did they offset these trades and just how many are we talking about to earn 27K ??

I presume they haven't cancelled all your profits, just how much profit have you have left??

This is the reason why I've the 20K highest account worth principle, being chucked back to 10K beginning of each month not trusting brokers for this kinda cash.
No, they havent cancelled all my profits, just the big ones as far as their platform moving down and loosing out, they refuse to repay that amount, too.
