If an ECN broker deploys MT platform all looses Function:Limit Orders do not reach the ECN network; they are set and withheld from the MT4 server until they are activated. After they are triggered they become Market orders. Therefore, they do not influence the ECN network, one will not see it at the L2. The Bid/Ask prices are received/displayed in precisely the exact same moment. This is hopeless in ECN. Bid/Ask price flow are separate entities and can't be displayed. ECN brokers, who have deployed MT are whores. They would like to pull in more people, but what they do is deprive their users of the legitimate market requirements.

    Hey men,

I am not going to promote one or a different broker. There are lots of discussions here incliqforextalking about this subject in detail.

But I can tell you an easy way to spot one, when you are opting for an ECN broker - 1. They will not have a MetaTrader platform.

I hope this reminds you the basics you ought to know about Forex market participants, the way they operate and what should you expect from them. The principle purpose of this thread would be to discus Market Maker and Digital Communiion Network brokers.

ECN is a network of market participants such as banks, market makers, companies and standalone traders. All of these offer liquidity and discuss the ideal bid/ask prices. An ECN broker connects his liquidity providers (the more the merrier) and provides complete market depth. A legitimate ECN broker doesn't have any battle...
    Hi Rader,

How to certify that the broker is ECN? Do they must register with NFA or others body or they could merely call themselve as ECN broker....

Btw, do you head to recommend me a REAL ECN broker?

    Thanks Beforehand.

Would be fine if you could supply a list of great brokers which are doing ECN and are not screwing their customers.
