How do we know and assess are these two brokers a REAL ECN broker or they're just another MM.
    1. Regulated
    2. No MT platform
    3. Level 2 price-feed
    4. You pay commisions
    5. Transparent

P.S. To people who say - Oh'that' broker has MT4 and he's ECN - FU. If an ECN broker has MT (I will repeat myself) he's a whore.

When did saying to people they are doing something stupid ever prevented it?

However in full seriousness, shing to ECN broker was the best thing I ever did in my trading career.

As previously mentioned, the sole reason to trader having a non ECN broker, is whether you understand how to outsmart them. That is a very rare occasion

I am guessing the majority of traders are individuals who have sucked into Forex by some IB. Went through their'eduional' two day material and began trading with some bucket-shop.

Another example, individuals stumble-upon Fx and decide on a first eduion they loe (babypips, trading for dummies or a broker'From zero to hero' manual ), then choose the first broker they loe.

In the conclusion, when they blow all the money they begin bitching in FF, into the broker and everyone else.

Damn, individuals, cliqforexis magnificent resource for studying. If you're here, you're among the luckier traders, who has an chance to read and ask here.

Stop complaining in the MM threads, about the way that something is wrong. Something will always be erroneous. They have this business model, in which they get rich, once you loose all of your money (one way or another).
They also possess this technology, called MetaTrader, which brakes down if you start breathing onto it.

So everything will fail, but just for you.

Thus if you're trading with MM you ought to be completely conscious of the consequences. Just the individuals who are conscious of what they're doing, should trade with them (who have the balls to outsmart them).

    of course.

Advantages of market maket compared to the very low entrance fee. That is about it.

Question: apart from natural market mechanics like slippage, have you ever discovered any unexpected downsides to being on ecn?
The entrance is really low today with ECN brokers.

Well, no. I have not found none. You have to become accustomed to the real market requirements thou. Together with MM's blowing smoke in your face, you may start believing, that this really is Forex. Just like f-ed up MT language, the MM mess with your head and you start thinking that it's the way it ought to be.
And individuals are misguided and underedued about the market participants.

As for the slippage, it's a natural thing. As you press on the button, then the price already changes few times. So there's a slim chance you will be implemented at spot price. Nonetheless, it's not that bad thou. You get stuffed at VWAP.

    That can be complete off-topic.
    ------------------------------------------
Anyhow, renaming and perplexing is an MT thing. Other platforms, as-well as each of the other market participants utilize the default meanings - as it supposed to be.

When it doe's confuse folks, they should have dictionary. Metaqoutes-Forex. They'll be OK.
    ------------------------------------------
Going back to the root of this thread.

    Anyone heard of this'Black-Box'?
My final article on this matter since it is off-topic... but, the point is that context must understand what another person is talking about. Regardless of the right or incorrect use of language there are likely to become legions of folks reading here who see things from the context of what they know in mt4. It doesn't matter how wrong the term is. Just like individuals using to rather than too, and your rather than you're etc.. It is an insurmountable failure the masses fortify upon themselves. There's no being appropriate in a society.

On-topic... how long have you been with the ecn, just out of curiosity?
