Forex broker frequently suffer from slippage. Clients who used them are not satisfied with the platform. But have low spreads on EUR/USD but had to go as a result of platform? Some other issues with them are holding your deposit (by credit card) for more than 30 days. You can exchange, but cannot make a withdrawal until the 30 days are up. Additionally, it seems like whenever customer put a trade with a stop loss attached to the original order, the stop loss is hunted down and hit quickly. This happens a lot...

Spreads are not low enough since they are a market maker on mt4. That has been reason enough for me to leave them

I was with Forex.com for about 8 weeks when I just started trading. I really don't have a bone to pick with them, and enjoyed their platform (this was before they offered MT4). I guess the reason I left them was that they like to call and make all sorts of offers. Like, we will give you this instrument and that support should you maintain x amount on your account. Kind of telemarketing.

I had the feeling, and mind you that it was just a sense - I'm not saying this as fact, they know about 90% of FX traders fail, and that they just wanted to run a newbie together as long as you can.

I'd enjoy the news support upgrades with their platform, though, and they were always prompt and polite. Order matches are fast, along with the two trading discrepancies I had with them were solved to my satisfaction. I think they are fairly fair.

The telemarketing feel kind of put me off, though, I HATE telephone calls around supper time.

I abandoned them because I was experimenting with a metatrader demo, and enjoyed that much better -- more tools-- more free stuff

    Only my view.

Arent you an Ib to them?
Im an IB for virtually every company out there; this doesn't mean they're good FCMs.

I don't spam these boards and just offer input from a point of view of somebody who works directly with (but isn't in bed with) all of these FCMs.

My understanding the other options Forex.com offers needs a monthly fee.
GAIN's proprietary platform is called FOREXTrader and is offered in java, appliion, and wireless variant.

You are able to set up one click implementation and their API is fairly great as well.

All platforms are all free, and GAIN gives a limited-version of eSignal with $1,000 deposits.

The problem with Forex.Com is that they have begun to have broad spreads.

I personally think GAIN Capital is among the only honest deal desk brokers out there.
Arent you an Ib to them?

What is the benefit of using MT4 over their standard platform?

The option to code in Metaquotes makes it cusomizable to your needs Even in the event that you do not code, frequently others have coded indiors, scripts, and expert advisors.

My comprehension the the other choices Forex.com offers requires a monthly fee.

    Best regards

Ive seen many mentions of MT4 but being new to the game I am not quite certain exactly what it is, and how it can be utilized with forex.com trading platform. What is the benefit of using MT4 above their typical platform?

Gain Capital (forex.com) has an extremely honest dealing desk.
The only problem Gain has is their high spreads. Before they upgraded to the MetaTrader4 platform, the trading program they used before was complete crap. I am not a a fan of MT4 with no means... however MT4 is a massive improvement over the previous trading platform Gain offered before MT4.

But other than their High Spread, Gain is a fantastic company to exchange with. Gain may be lumped with brokers like FXCM and GFT.
