Is Meta Trader 4 a rigged platform ?

It's my view that the meta-quotes trading platform Meta Trader 4 and Meta Trader 5 really are nothing more than rigged slot machines. .

I've previously used the mt4 for my transactions and do for charting and analysis. I've had various incidences of error messages for example - 'no link' 'invalid price' 'off-quotes' along with a myriad of other messages when trying to enter/exit the market at crucial times. Obviously I became suspicious and did a little digging on good old google.

Here is what I've came up with -

This movie MADE MY BLOOD BOIL -

I've read on here that a user called up meta-quotes pretending for a brokerage firm wanting to use their product . Apparently the rep from meta-quotes will tell you all about the add-ons / plug-ins that will ensure that YOU(meaning the broker) will always have a border so that the retail trader will shed.

Can this all bull-sheet ? Well, I guess you research for yourself and make your own mind up. I personally will never use mt4 for live trading as a result of my OWN experience.

You will discover that every single platform for example banks and hedge fund platforms are the same. Have trader options to protect the trader before the customer.

Calling mt4 a scam would be the same as calling spot-fx a scam. Because even the banks do these things to traders orders.

Desire protection against this? Trade cash on spreads. You won't make very much, but at least you won't be paranoid. Because you hold the cash in your hands.
I called MT4 that a SCAM, I just posed the question Is MT4 a scam platform?

And just for the record, I am not paranoid one small bit. I simply posted what I have found spending 1-2 hours exploring a hunch I'd. It to see. It's up-to you what you do with the information.

You could be correct, maybe spot fx actually is a scam . After-all, if 95-98 percent of spot FX speculators neglect then surely that need to let it's own narrative.

I am coming to realise what the term BROKEr really means .

    Errr... Pictures do not show.

Anyways, fulfill the dreadful reality, MT4 is among the top platforms, nobody enjoys pip-hunters, brokers are interested to be profitable, traders get dumber and dumber and the end of the world is near (in 2012).

Seriously, what can you anticipate? 99.99 percent of all brokers do not get your positions everywhere, but rather you trade inside the brokers' servers. Even in ECN/STP still happens the same, although the chain is a bit longer. When you profit, you take funds straight from the broker. You think he enjoys it? No way.

Now the other issue is that all brokers know scalpers eventually lose their deposits. Always. That is the reason you're allowed to search your two pips sometimes.

Who would you believe Metaquotes market their platform? To traders? No manner, to brokers. Why on earth would anyone behave in the interests of his customer, who pays him money, I wonder? Any ideas?

So here it comes again, blah-blah, they do not allow me to scalp, SCAM everywhere, and The Good Brokergate Conspiracy Theory, tired and sick of reading this. Your inability to trade and comply with Money Management does not create a broker scam. It causes you to... (No, sorry, here we have bad words.)

All the resources available to brokers are there in MT4, but that doesn't mean the brokers necessarily utilize them. With the debut of MT4 ECN brokers, bucketshops risk losing their clients should they try to twist them at every chance. Traders aren't dumb, and know when they're being screwed with.

Approximately 3 decades ago, in the event that you wanted to use MT4, the bucketshops held all the cards. Not so anymore. MBT, ATC Brokers, PFG, are ECN's which provide MT4 now. Quite simple for an upset bucketshop client to simply switch, and the buckets know this, so I don't think they use all of the trader defeating tools which are readily available to them.

This is simply silly. Borkers are not going to bother carrying out individual stops. They do not have to. They know it's merely a matter of time until you blow your account anyhow due to trading incompetence/inexperience/stupidity/drunk/bad hair day/whatever.

Traders are their own worst enemy, not borkers.

Lol, well I have no great love for the borkers, but I agree that learning how to trade efficiently is the better place to apply your attempts...

Lol, well I don't have any fantastic love for those borkers,
Nor I. That is why I rarely use hard stops.

I feel its better just to seek out a broker that doesnt play those games. Trading is tough enough that if you even THINK your broker stop-hunts its time to head for the door. As ECN brokers come on line this will become a problem previously. We'll be telling our grandkids - I recall when brokers exchanged against us and struck our stops on goal - REALLY GRANDMA!? WOW - THATS CRAZY!!
