    A salutory lesson in money management

    Or how I moved from trying to provide a broker my money to not wanting anything more to do together this side of hell freezing over -- in the space of just a day or two!

    It appeared I was not able to upgrade my bank with SunbirdFX without concurrently paying funds into the account so I contacted SunbirdFX and following some fairly unprofessional but bearable messing around I had been asked by one Amir Brown to upload a picture of the new card to SunbirdFX.

    I've never been asked to do so before but on the basis I didn't also supply the security code I decided to go ahead. In reality they wouldn't be receiving any more info than I'd put into an internet form to fund the account.

    I attached the image as pdf document and shipped it.

    Closing comments,

    I got all my money back at the start of January, it had been returned to this card that they said they couldn't return it to.

    I still can't make my mind up what this company thinks it is up to, in my view if they were just scamming then they'd go to some trouble to make sure they presented themselves at a credible fashion.

    In fact, thinking about it, I actually don't really care. 'All's well that ends well' .

    I get no reply or acknowledgement from anyone.

    Currently I've corresponded with

    Amir Brown -- that does not seem to get a work name. Any suggestions? No; on thoughts please don't.

    Saad Suleiman -- Head of Media marketing SunbirdFX (his capitalisation) who has failed to acknowledge my reply for the,

    I'll post here again if they do return my money but I'm not holding my breath.

    Anyone working for me personally who sent an email like that would be looking for a new job forthwith or even some training when they were a school leaver or had special needs - maybe.
    (No SunbirdFX company signature or data, not addressed correctly to the client, no help or information regarding the issue, not even spell-checked.)

    Anyhow, I'm now engaged in the process although quite suspicious of SunbirdFX so I keep;

    I answer including a screen shot of shipping telling and other info to help them find the bank details I sent them a short while back.

    Their e-mails have really bad grammar and written in the most unprofessional way...
    Whenever a forex broker is asking for a card print or scan, you should always blur the css code on the back of the card and the first 12 numbers on front, leaving only the last 4 unblurred.
    Most brokers will provide a little bonus for traders however everything that sounds too good should also raise a question. .

    Hey Gizzle, I trade from the UK and also have used GKFX for several decades, if you amazes me that you are interested then I will also make you a joiner bonus. Their spreads have been fixed and you are able to trade everything from apple to gold, sp500 and every currency...

    I have had no Issues with them and also their customer service is good, and of course FCA controlled

    Well, it's Monday morning,
    there is absolutely no remittance information, no capital and no other sign that SunbirdFX have done exactly what they said.
    The account remains open although most of the money has vanished from it today.
    Here's a hint for you while we are waiting,
    One means of getting a companies focus when they emphasise you will be to start emailing very senior people within the business, this is not as hard as you might think,First loe the format that they use for individual mail addresses in the business; it will generally be something like for example - or or among a few other standard formats, in case you have some emails from those in the business that you will see the arrangement already.Next Google for business information, you'll normally produce all the names of these supervisors and other top people who you can then send directly, you might need to try a few variations on the subject but this usually works out well enough.
    If you also tell your mail client to ask for delivery and read receipts you'll quickly work which you get through.
    Recall you get a much better response if you're not abusive and you keep to the point, no matter how angry you're getting together.
    Produce an email with your complaint carefully place out and then record all the email addresses you've found in the 'to' box.most mail clients make it possible for you to 'save' a .eml or a .msg file (or other proprietory file type) onto your desktop, you can then double click this file onto your desktop each time you want to update and resend the mail.
