thread: Orders triggered in the middle of nowhere!

In backtests my EA appears to enter orders where price has not been to the candle at which the order was triggered. Any suggestions why?

I will offer up a possibility, although it's a loooooooooooong shot.

You are testing using the management point model and your interval data does not match up. Meaning, if you are testing on hour bars, the data on your own 30 minute bars might not jive.

You can most likely gain some insight by logging tick info to document since your own EA processes.
