thread: Great EA. Anyone interested in forward testing?

I've just done a backtest on the EUR/USD pair with TP at 8 and SL at 22 and it creates an exponential curve in the backtester. That is with 90% modelling quality.Relative drawdown was only 8.61%. And max drawdown has been 7.57%. The backtest was from 2000 to yesterday and I used the connected expert advisor. I've changed what so I think it counts the disperse today Tdion said. Is anyone interested in testing it with this pair?

Something is wrong with the EA. I have made a new thread to solve the problem.

Is it essential for me to use this revised EA or does exactly the problems only involve back-testing?

Is the issue you've discovered big enough to stop forward test of the first posted EA?

The problem is that the spread. You utilize if TP = 14 then the EA will close orders once the market has moved 14 pips but it should move 17 prior to taking profit because of the 3 pips spread. I really don't think it is a problem. As I understand it suggests that you merely get a 11 pips profit each time and 31 for stop reduction usually means that you lose 34 pips rather.

The EA has now been fixed. A stop reduction of 31 now means that the price only has to move 28 (31-3 pips) to shut the place, and a goal of 14 implies that the price has to move 17 pips to close the place (14 3pips).

If you don't have any open positions it would be a fantastic idea to apply this new EA.
