quote, I haven't tried your EA however but the indior published by writer repaints only on the current candle. Once candle is closed from the path of the arrow, then arrow will stay there indefinitely. I am attempting to set egy with a different filter with this indior. It looks more promising than set of moving averages from the initial procedure. Can you please try the same and see if it works for EA? document
The problem of repainting is in all indiors with averaging in the calculations. If there's absolutely no redrawing, then the indior is very slow. In the sent indior I see the lag of this indior peaks from the summit of this chart at 30 candles minimum. I think that this is a very major delay. I have written if you get the signal of this indior Stoodiv not from the last, but from the preceding candle, you can lose almost all the profit of the last orders or get a reduction.

I'm going to test gregor ea on a bigger timeframe (five years) with 99.9% quality data beginning from EUR USD. Because data is about 30 gb it will take sometimes. I hope it works.
I attempted on additional pairs but data offered by brokers is very low quality (such as 38 percent ) and results may fluctuates a lot.

    See you shortly

Dear buddy do not waste your time on history. It is futile. Better place the EA on the demo account right tomorrow and find out how it works. Work on on the EURUSD 1H chart. The expert may not provide deals for several days, then shoot and bargains can last for several days. This is not scalping. Read my article 68 that is my attitude to history.
    Best regards

Look post 27 that is really a tester. And post 43 is a transaction from my real account. Why did it not shut on the indior's arrow? There was a portion of the indior, i.e.. The arrow jumped out for some time and then vanished, but that was sufficient for the EA to shut the Buy Order.

    Hey Gregor,

    thanks for your Advice.

I've got one for you also. I conducted a backtest on eur.usd with info from dukascopy (99 percent ) and it returns a 36% profit in five years. Not too bad, not too great but I detect a few elements very detrimental to this egy which can be fixed very easily.

In a bullish situation with quick average over slow average you may have several orders in waiting for a red arrow to close them. Sometimes the red arrow seems very late when the slow average is over fast average from quite a while and then price has gone down a lot. If you insert a control to close buy orders at the moving average cross you save some big losses. For instance in the last two years you could have saved over 4000 pips doing this, over the entire profit in the test within five years.
Eventually another challenge is when you have both arrow on precisely the exact same candle. I don't know why If I'm in a situation like the above, a the red arrow candle (with blue arrow also ) ea do not close orders.

If you can resolve these problems I assure the results would be much better.

    Hope You're like my suggestion.

    Due

I really don't know whether it's my problem or not. I started the EA when the market start today with default putting on my demo account but the EA did not open any trade until now even there is a arrow. I've already enable auto trading and tick allow live trade too. Please assist.

    Hi every body,
Thanks to Noor and Greg for sharing the system and EA. As a suggestion for better enter and exit the trade and finding market leadership (during market change), what's your idea about using Heiken-ashi-exit for a filter?

If you're running it on EURUSD, then there was no valid sign nonetheless. Look chart on previous article; there was just a market sign while fast EMA is above Slow EAM, which means an UP trend, so you should not trade that installation according to rules first post.

what's your idea, exactly? I applied Henken-ashi-exit into EURUSD and I see are valid entries that wouldn't be taken when we were looking for affirmation. See bellow entries circled in red.
