I understand, and my apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Your life and time is worth a thousand times more.

Just know you have done a fantastic job with this indior (and the Recent Candles Indior, which I will be testing following ) and it has not gone unnoticed. It'd be nice if you could post the MQL source code for the whole indior(s), not just the build strength file, but again I understand that's the highly valued intellectual property, hehe.

I believe you're a genius (trader and programmer!) And your work.

Could someone out here help me to add the latest indior's price also the gap (disparity pips) of the bollinger indior to the upper right corner on the chart so that it seems like this (about the chart just the example ). Explanation:

The left (yellow blue characters ) would be the indior's most up-to-date price value
The middle (red characters ) would be the disparity pips between indior
The right (white characters ) would be the disparity pips between each indior price value to the highest and lowest last candlestick price.

These all figures show up in the upper right corner on the chart(flexible )
    Thanks

To: Mr. Hanover or alternative else....
The topic of the thread is your Recent Strength indior.

I suggest you post your request in among those I code your indiors for complimentary threads, where it may be more noticeable.

    Hey guys!

The indior does not work 100 percent for me. (Maybe it's simply because weekend, I don't know, but I believe that is not the reason behind the collapse.)
Once I place the NumPoint - the number of pubs (Now number of dates) shall change right?
Once I change the BasePoint I must find a node somewhere in the middle, since that bar is going to be our foundation. (just as in post #20)

However nothing happens if I change any of these values. (My charts remain exactly the same)
    Any thoughts?

    Thank you.

PS: It's a masterpiece - this is really what I have been on the lookout for / attempted to develop myself. Thank you!

I'm sorry, but from the information you've provided, I really don't know what to suggest.

I am running Pepperstone MT4 build 509 on Win XP Pro SP2, and the Recent Power indior works fine for me, just as described in post #1.

However, it is arguably complicated to set up correctly; wants to assemble prices on all pairs along with timeframes in order to operate correctly (hence it can take 20-30 minutes to acquire the required data from the br0ker's server), maybe freezing MT4 during this one-off process; and its own calculations have considerable CPU (computer) resource. A lot of people have complained about itone FF penis calls it the beast!

To anyone who has issues with it, all I will say is that it's a totally free indior, and there are loads of (more friendly) strength indiors on this and other forums (e.g. here here here and http://articles.mql4.com/422). More links in this informative article. Also Oanda's strength heatmap http://fxtrade.oanda.com/analysis/currency-heatmap.

    Hello!

I believe then the problem can be found in the broker - since the broker is closed now, they are unable to provide the info @ weekend. I will try it on monday.
Your job here is highly valued, and your indior is top-class.

    Have a nice weekend

    I don't have any idea...
Perhaps my preferences? I'd like a base point different than my numpoint. My numpoint is 20 and I have.

    Thank you so much

Try placing ParameterFile into NONE (or the name of a file that doesn't exist).
If you depart the ParameterFile setting blank, the indy assumes that you are using the provided parameter file'Presets--Recent Strength.TXT' to keep your settings, and hence it's ignoring your settings from the MT4 dialog boxes.
    Explained further in article #1.
