Thanks for your support.
The broker is IBFX. It offers the following currency pairs: EURUSD, USDJPY, GBPUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, EURGBP, EURJPY, EURCHF, GBPCHF, GBPJPY, AUDJPY, CHFJPY, EURCAD, EURAUD, AUDCAD, AUDNZD, NZDJPY, AUDCHF, EURDKK, EURNZD, GBPNZD, NZDCHF, USDDKK, USDPLN, USDSGD.
I'm running MT4 (build 225) on Windows 7.

Marco
Hi Marco,
I'm running Win XP-Pro Home Edition, not Win 7, therefore that I can't examine fully here.
Here is the only procedure I can indicate:
1. Remove the indy out of all of your MT4 charts.
2. Unzip the attached documents into the.../ / experts/indiors and.../ / experts/files folders, as suggested by the zip file names, overwriting any files of the same name that already exist there.
3. Consider shutting everything down and rebooting your PC. That should clear everything.
4. Reload MT4 and attach the indior to a single chart only. It should not matter whether that chart already has other indys attached, but I have a tendency to conduct Power on its own'dedied' chart.
-- If the pair names are like EURUSD, then leave all of the parameters as is.
-- If the pair names are like EURUSDm, subsequently set ParameterFile = m
and leave all of the additional parameters as is.
This should remove any chance of the bug being in the parameter file.
5. It should take 5-10 mins for information that is enough to assemble up to allow the spaghetti lines to plot properly. It is possible to toggle between timeframes, if needed, to refresh the chart.
If this procedure hangs your MT4, then I'm at a loss to understand why. You have unzipped the .EX4 file that runs OK on my PC.
If you've got another computer you could try running the indy on, that's not operating Win7, and the indy runs OK on that pc, then we would be aware that the challenge is PC/Win7 specific.
If you've got another broker's MT4 working in your Win7 PC, and the indy runs OK there, then we would understand it has something to do with all the IBFX version.
That is about all that I could do.
Good fortune,
David
[EDIT]
I have downloaded IBFX MT4, also have the indy working on their platform here, using the same parameter file that I sent you - see screenshot below.

Thanks David, for all the help. You provide better support than individuals selling $2k software. It works flawlessly now.

Sorry to bother you but how can you place this indior to monitor prices from the start of the week?
Your attached chart displays the Recent Prices indior, Instead of Recent Strength.
The two indiors are coded to operate on the basis of plotting points for the previous X candles, as opposed to some starting point in time (e.g. the beginning of the week). Establish the NumPoints parameter equivalent to X's value. If you are plotting multiple MT4 timeframes, you might have another NumPoints worth for each e.g.
TimeFrames = M5, M15, M30, H1, H4;
NumPoints = 240, 80, 40, 20, 5;
-- would result in 240 M5 information points, 80 M15 information points, etc being plotted.
NumPoints = 30;
-- would result in 30 data points being plotted for each requested interval.
For detailed advice, please refer to the instructions in post #1 in either thread.
Hey,
For some reason when I go to do this indior in my chart it says this application has caused a crucial error and has to close.
I have windows 7
Thanks,
I can't reproduce the error here. I'm running Win XP Home edition.
Can anybody who's running Win 7 aid?
Download a fresh copy of MT4 out of the broker and try again. I have Windows 7 plus it works in my computer. Moreover, you require a minimum of 3G of ram to generate work that is W7 and if you have less the extra progr may do that. Only some guesses.
