Try the attached. Make sure that it is downloaded (or duplicated ) into your.../experts/files folder. Then restart MT4; and then remove and reattach the Recent Strength indior from the chart(s). As is leave the parameters ; the indior should pick up all the parameters that are necessary in the document that is attached.

That I was not able to try it out from IBFX, as their demo account does not appear to possess the am' character appended to the pair emblem name. Yours is a live account?

Anyway, I hope this works for you. It could take a few minutes for it to gather all the relevant data (from every pair, every timeframe), to plot it to the chart.

tried that one and still no luck. Tried altering the parameters to incorporate the m and nothing. The acct I have w/IBFX is demo and will not include the m. can't recall in case you have to choose one or another, but it is there.

one other thing, I really do have a live acct also and the live is 4 and 2 match, not 5 and 3(don't know if that matters)

I think I've loed the problem. I was converting the currency pair names to uppercase, if a person typed'eurusd' instead of'EURUSD', but alas, the am' in EURUSDm was becoming converted to uppercase too (EURUSDM). Thus the indior wasn't comprehending the currency pair.

The connected fix should work for you (put in it into the.../experts/indiors folder, overwriting the previous version). I finally managed to locate an IBFX account kind that used minis. The screenshot below shows the outcome once I compiled the repair, eliminated the indior, restarted MT4, attached the new one, and waited patiently mins for the indior. This account does utilize 5/3 decimals, but the fact that yours is 4/2 shouldn't make a difference.

The bug described in post #97 has been repaired, along with a MT4 script is now available to automatically determine which pairs your broker is offering, and construct your parameter file (Presets--Recent Strength.TXT) accordingly.

OK first query - I dont have the ideal axis - the secret of the pairs on my chart so without opening the level, I dont know which color is which.

Can you have'Chart Shift' on? (MT4 menu choice: Charts Chart Shift; or click on the icon as shown in the screenshot below)

When this is on, it should free up sufficient space in the RHS of the chart to enable the legend to display (as in the screenshot).

I dont typically possess chart shift on - which did the trick.
