    Are you testing GBPUSD? If you do, do you inform me just how many pips that the egy 1 wins between Oct. 11 and Oct. 13? What about 25 and Oct. 24? These days are the biggest loser from the EA testing.

    Thanks.
    That's true. Between 11-13, dropped 100 profit 4, between 24-25 dropped 100...

    I have checked the trades. There were 3 trades was not making any sense and costed 360 pips. Thus 360 pips on the final balance. There was another commerce that EA was not quick enough to TP and BE because price spikes upward and drop back in a minute. Human won't be able to close it on time also but may close it with a smaller loss, therefore 40 pips.

    Overall balance will be -294 400=106 pips profit in Oct. from 43 trades. Without assessing the transaction log with a guide backtesting trade log, I can not say this is accurate (two testers can have different result, but it is a modest profitable now).

    This EA is a rush job and may still have bugs in it, but I haven't discovered the bug in the EA that caused the errors mentioned above (maybe it is because of the information source or the freshman, we can always blame the tester, can not we? ) . It should nonetheless be helpful for back and forward testing of Micardo's method. In the end, checking EA's commerce log and finding out the trades taken by mistake remains much simpler than do the testing completely by human (imho).

    Hi Aha, as I am only a junior in Forex market, it's maybe seems stupid to ask what's really EA stands for? And for the file you supply to download, how do we use it? Can there be a thread introduce how to use them? Please kindly advice, thank!

    I'm opening this thread because of an article I read in PF about receiving and giving (written by fijitrader if you still do not know about that article). I've been practicing the thought so and I think it has been changing my life ever since. Forex is one aspect of it but let's just focus on FX. Ever since I begin to produce EAs and indiors and discuss them with the nice fellows on this particular forum, many seasoned traders started to discuss their invaluable suggestions and methods to me selfishlessly, or contributed their time on analyzing my EAs/indiors to make them better. In the process I've learnt a lot and in the same time I understood that higher results could be achived if we do it in a more organized manner.

    I guess I do not have to explain how a trustworthy EA can help ours trading life. The key word here is reliable, or caliber. Most of the EAs out there lack the caliber since they're produced by an extremely small group of volunteers, who typically don't have much time, much trading or programming experience and usually don't want to share their thoughts with other people (give) therefore can not get much help from other people too. All these can be solved if we can begin to share and knows how to share.

    Yes, open source EA advancement, that's what I am talking about. It is like building linux in EA planet so most of us benefit from it.

    In fact in FF we are in a perfect situation here in order to make it happen. I will address what components we need to build a trusted EA in another post (I hate long articles, and this one is coming my limit already).

    BTW, my first language is not English. I will try to make my point clear but there is a win/loss ratio here I don't think I could overcome in this life.

    I was wondering if Aha or a different programmer actively involved within this”EA Factory” thread might take a peek at the following. This is the final version of Make Grid (at least I think it is), and also the script to close all profitable positions. I have been testing some variable egies but need the Make Grid EA modified. Create Grid includes an individual input defined as (Update Interval). Basically scans to readjust grid orders (Update Interval) placing EX: each 15 min. What I would love to do would be the (Update Interval) sequence also execute the”Close all profitable positions” script each update. In other words if any place is above Profit target definition, then it would close.

    lt;? Xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice /gt;lt;ogt; lt;/ogt;

    I would love assistance, and hopefully we could enhance a EA that I believe can earn money in all market conditions with the right settings. A skilled programmer could probably have exactly the EA modified with in a very short time as all the script is already offered.

    lt;ogt; lt;/ogt;

    Any takers?

    I am rather busy at this time. Will see if GP2X or somebody else get the moment.

    Hey Song,

    EA is for Expert Assistant. It basically trades a couple of predefined rules mechanically, and therefore you don't need to be accessible all of the time for the market. If you would like to learn more about it, go to the help document of MT4 platform would be a fantastic beginning.

    Mouteki v0.2 released.
    I set up the indior, as I have many others before, but nothing happens when I drag it in the chart. Any ideas?

    The same happens with the latest posted indior. What am I overlooking?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for the reply Aha. I understand your time problem - it is difficult to be on 10 threads at once https://www.cliqforex.com/trading-sy...ett-style.html. Clam or GP - will one of you men have the ability to swing this? I believe that it will be well worth the attempt.

    Thank you Beforehand.

    Hi PipSteve,

    It's an EA. You may find how to turn on an EA from the MT4 help doc. BTW, v0.2 isn't the latest version from the thread. You might discover v0.4 a few pages later.
