Help Needed to Debug Existing EA with proven strategy

    Hi,

Way back in 2011 when I knowingly traded in Foreign Exchange I'd spent quite a little $$ using coders from Scriptlance to code my ideas into EA. I'd ceased trading in 2013 due to losses but am thinking of trading reside in the future. I into the arsenal of EAs that were coded for me, I would love to invite all coders here to help me sew those jewels for the benefit of all and found some gems - the source codes will be posted by me. The EA is called Forex RM split into a Buyer and a Seller. RM stands for Reverse Martingale. Don't worry, it's NOT a Martingale nor is it a pure Martingale - I would describe it as a hybrid Martingale. Honestly, the simplicity of the egy will make you laugh but believe me, IT WORKS VERY WELL in reality - I had tested it both in demo and accounts. The only reason I'd stopped using it in my live account would be the insect that actually cripples it and I was not focused nor decided to iron out the insect at the time as my mind was full of ideas and I was impatient to get all coded.

In order to stir up your curiosity, let me say the next egorically:

    1. It's VERY PROFITABLE
    2. It's quite low risk
    3. Hardly any draw down
    4. It is going to never dismiss your account (provided that SL is place)
    5. It may be traded on each of the 23 pairs concurrently
    6. If employed properly, it can cope with ANY market scenarios - trending, ranging except possibly crazy market situation
    7. If the insect is successfully fixed and the EA can trade in the way that I wanted/intended it to, there is absolutely no reason why you can not earn at least 3 percent per trading day trading on each of the 23 pairs;

I will post screen shots here in order to demone that in the past 44 hours trading from 28.03 in 01:40 to 29.03 in 21:30, it created $12,469.00 profit (from a $100,000 demo account) representing 12.47% in less than two full days trading. It had earned $16,652.59 (16.65%) but I'd closed -$4,183.59 value of trades as a result of insect - trades which should have been shut in profit but was not closed due to the bug. It may also be seen from one of the screen shots that from the -$4,967.41 drawdown from the continuing active trades, -$4,841.33 of which were a result of the insect - the other words, the actual drawdown is just -$126.08!!! (and that's after having actually made $16,652.59 in these 44 hours). Don't fret about the huge $100,000 of the demo account - it was supposed to mimic a $1,000 micro/cent account because we can not secure demo account on micro/cent account ($100,000 in a normal account equals to $1,000 in a micro/cent account). That is a screen shot of a typically properly closed trade cycle when Universal TP place at $300.

Swingman, we will need to stay focus on solving the core logic/egy first. Everyone else - please STOP making any further suggestions on adding in unnecessary features (at least NOT at this moment in time) in particular on any aspects of cash management. It is an utter waste of time energy and focus on those completely meaningless add ons (now in time) when we have NOT yet solved the deadlock situation to our satisfaction. The EA since it is, remains far from decent although we have made great strives with the implementation of this...
Agree entirely, the EA needs to just function properly before proceeding to any other degree, the numerous orders is crucial overcome or there will be no confidence in leaving it to run without supervision, once the account reaches maximum orders open, the deadlock is created, unless in my instance the buy orders dominated and the account could just go 1 way to get profit, if it moves the other way there would be no room to open sells to cover along with the account would blow, live ahead testing on hold for the moment, D

The notion of the initial order as a factual position (executed order) is redundant. It can exist virtual not inducing reduction when its stoploss is 'hit'.

Please take note that I have only applied the minimum bar length filter (10 pips in M15) in my preceding test.

Swingman, I believe I may have discovered the insect - please look at the screen shot taken from the detailed trades of the above mentioned back test - please watch the high-lighted trade and the next commerce - the gap was two complete months - logically it should not occurred - after a cycle has been started, the EA isn't assumed to be subjected to further filtering until the cycle is shut. I am hoping you can spot the bug and fix it.

Again Swingman, thank you so much to your EA and I believe that this EA is easily one of the most prized valuable free gift that anyone might get from cliqforex! PERIOD!

Haven't heard from Phillip Lee, hope he's ok, a mind blowing 143 buys and 77 sells, with 3.3 rocket, didn't experience the massive, multiple transaction volume like previous however, few points, first and foremost the EA performed nicely but didn't keep the degree of buy and sell, if we believe that the cycle, available of transactions then close at profit, cycle restart, was good but on a few cycles, many buys opened as expected, then the price dropped to the level of sells but no market pending line, it had been there but way over the price, on restarting the EA that the sells appeared, so perhaps a part of restart, which brings me to the next stage, the EA needs to take a breath then start again, after profit is hit and transactions closed the EA is still functioning looking for transactions, it closes all transactions then a few are accepted immediatley, it needs a sleeping function to give the user time to discontinue or allow it to last, or just restart itself, putting back in order, comprehend it's auto trading but being too quick is a problem, please bare in mind that this is live trading and I am seeing this firsthand and intervening, therefore why it cannot be left unattended, my observations, expect it helps D

Yop Swingman, I just closed all of the orders the version 3.3 opended this morning, and put the version 4 with your group files. And it loads in rapide fire manner a bunch of orders again, sorry boss
    New Version smForexRM EA_v4.1

when you look at the messages in Pro, the StopLoss are mistaken!
Try this version 4.1 now. I have corrected some mistakes.

There is a problem when long bars seem - we want the retrieval, and using more as 1 pending order, not 1 market order such as in the very first Buyer/Seller versions!
The other problem is when the EA is disrupted. You can save the constraints if a failure is throughout the day, but it's more complex. I still require patience and time to get this particular solution.

OK, everything has been saved ...
