    Hi Billy,

According to my previous posts, the filtering process is the secret to this egy - that is exactly why I need the two EAs to be separated and only serve to perform the trades after we'd created that filtering choice.

I'm sure those of you that are more discerning here would have discerned from my posts that I fully meant to use it only as a tool to assist in my trading - due to its highly flexible approach, I could rely upon it to produce the trade profitable for me if my filtering process and my entry was not spot on.

I had conducted the demo account and also posted the screen shots trading on all 23 pairs 'liberally' simply to show you guys how flexible the approach is and how well it might assist you to turn a not so nicely entered trade to a profitable trade. The purpose is simply to show you guys just how profitable and flexible that approach would be more - in fact I would be very cautious to trade all 23 pairs unless you have the time to study every single pairs in depth first. I hope you guys understand what I am trying to say here.

That is why I insisted from my Thread rules that both separate EAs must be produced perfect first. I know people will instantly suggest that both be combined and a filter be hard coded - in my own experience of having testing completely nearly 100 EAs, I will tell you for true that it will never work as it takes the most important element of an individual filtering process - it's simply impossible to code all of the filters and the constantly changing variables which only an individual person can make.

So Billy, the easy reply to your question is not to exchange whenever there is an upcoming 'reddish' occasion (check it in Cliqforex). However, as could be seen, during those 44 hours testing, there were just two 'red' events since I know that the EA can cope with this, but I could not be bothered. The other choice is to place your SL say - although it would get hit once in a while, as said, when the filtering is performed the SL would be rarely hit.

    Hi Phillip

Trading the EA on a demo account is very likely to conceal the risks behind this particular technique.
How can the EA play in a live market and through news spikes?

Let's have a peek at a possible situation where the market is moving.

In -10 pips the 1st suborder triggers so we have 1.01 lots open
At-15 pips that the SL of the fist order becomes hit so we have 1.0 lots open

In a live situation in which the SL of the 1st order will get hit,
will the EA have time to delete the 2nd pending order before it triggers and becomes a responsibility?

When it does not and also our 2nd suborder is 5 pips away, it could also activate and then we will have two lots open
and also our suborder SL is approx 200 pips away potentially exposing us into a Entire reduction of 410 pips plus slippage so maybe a -$4500 reduction
When the EA does have time to close the pending order then we only risk 200 pips slippage so maybe our reduction Because of a news spike will be -$2500

    Hi ,

In further answer to your post (12), allow me to explain further why I would dearly like to have a perfected separate Buyer and Seller EA first before moving forward with a combined EA.

Firstly, please do know that I have zero knowledge in coding. If I had been a coder myself, I would immediately agree and feel as if you proposed (since I could keep modifying it as my idea evolves/improves).

The issue here to me personally as a non-coder is that the entrance - if the entrance requirements are hard coded in the EA, there is nothing I could do (because I don't know how to change it) if it turns out to be ineffective. Please do know that our knowledge on forex evolves and keep improving - I want to take my example here - as mentioned previously in post 8 that I currently use the Bollinger Bands, STOCH and candle patterns to help me about guess in which the direction will be going in the next 24 hours - but only a few days ago I came across excellent Advanced Dashboard for Currency Strength (please visit the industrial section) which have many excellent reviews - and as and when the EAs below are perfected by you men here, I will definitely utilize his indior to observe that the strength and weakness of the various currency in a specific pair in order to decide whether to employ the Buyer or the Seller for that specific pair.

In short , I only need the EA to execute the transaction once I'd made the filtering choice - if the entry requirement is hard coded in the EA, I would not have that freedom to improve on the entrance - I am sure 90% of those who are reading this who aren't coders themselves appreciates what I've written previously.

Believe me, even if the filtering process is done correctly ('s excellent indior will help tremendously in this regard), the Strategy WORKS VERY WELL in fact - of the months of analyzing that the EA (back in 2011) both in demo and live account, I've hadn't a single subsequent Order hitting the SL (set at 150 to 200).

I dearly sincerely hope that you guys can make these two EAs perfect first as many would gain from it.

    Hi ,

Its an honor that you replied to my article. I had read a number of your posts back in 2008 - 2012 when I was lurking here (but didn't actively take part) and I could vividly remember your username '' as it's easily rememberable. Additionally, I had two or three brief exchanges with afterward, another easily remembered username when he was afterward heavily into Martingale egy and was trying to figure out methods to make it safer - I detected and read quite a bit at Stevehopwood site recently that he'd moved forward tremendously - even back then, I could clearly discern that he is one hell of an altruist guy.

Re your suggestion on your article (12), I am all for it as stated in article 3, would you please help me iron out the bug first and only perfect the EA since it's???

Hanover, as you stated , I concur that I could not be the sole person who'd thought about using the First Order as a trend/bottom/top seeker, but I can state this with 100% honesty, I didn't read it copied it from somewhere - it was 100% my first thought - but I have no problem accepting the reality that others should have thought about it also. I had read several other 'hybrid' thoughts in as far as reverse martingale is worried however, I haven't read one like mine (I am sure someone somewhere had composed about it but I certainly had not come across it). Never mind whether its original thought or not, I am not egoistic the issue is that it works and if you guys could help me make them ideal, a lot of others might benefit from it.

    Thanks for the interest exhibited!

    Hi rockit, Nicholishen Hanover,

Thanks very much for the answer. Wow I have to admit that I'm not tech savvy and had absolutely no understanding at all - and please know that I had just came back to the Forex scene and am trying to relearn everything again.

Wow men, it's literally shocking for me to learn the simple fact that the First Order could be done virtually within the algorithm - frankly, none of the coders I participated extensively with (more than 10) at Scriptlance back in 2008 to 2012 had ever told me that it could be done virtually - I had at least 20 EAs coded by them and many of that are teeming with germs that in most cases, despite clear explanation of these bugs, they weren't phased out correctly (such as the present EA that I posted here).

According to article 3, I'd love to do the joint EA eventually as suggested by you guys but as mentioned in precisely the same article 3, can you guys help me iron out the insect first in the existing Buyer and Seller EAs???

Perhaps I belong to the old school thinking (am 53 years old this year) - I'd love to see with my naked eye that the EA execute the egy as I intended it leaves behind a track for me to trace followup in order to discover where the bugs are and to verify whether the egy really works. If everything is done practically, I'd think its a bit more difficult (to me at least) to trace and to verify the validity of the egy. Another reason for having asked the coder to code two separate Buyer and Seller was because I want to get a degree of control over the EA specifically the entry.

Thus, can I ask you guys to be patient and bear with an old school thinker and help me iron out the insect that I had described in article 9 above?

Don't get me wrong, I'm very interested in the joint EA where most attributes are implemented virtually within the algorithm but can we please create the two Buyer Seller EA best first???

Once again, thanks very much guys for the interest shown.

I agree with rockit and Nicholishen.

Additionally, given everything you say in post #8, even if you're able to exactly define your egy (D1 candle, stoch, BB, whatever) that chooses both Buyer or Seller EA, then all of the Buyer, Seller and 'master selection' processes may be combined into a single EA, both tidying up and automating the entire process.

I've only read the docx and I've seen egies using similar principles to those described. That is all I'll say.

The concept of the first order as a factual position (executed order) is redundant. Rather it can exist purely virtual not causing real loss when its stoploss is 'hit'.

    This is.

The bug only happens in a circumstance when the subsequent Order(s) was/were triggered - when the Following Order(s) was NOT triggered, the EA works correctly.

This is the scenario when the Bug surfaces 100 percent of this time - it's when the subsequent Order(s) was/were triggered and until the Universal TP was struck, the trend reverses and the First Order is closed after having struck the SL - the EA always failed to reissue a new First Order ( with the 2 stops pending orders) when this occurs.

If you had grasp and truly understand the egy employed here, then you would immediately recognize how VITALLY IMPORTANT that the EA must immediately re-issue a new First Order ( with the two new pending orders - and of course, it must delete all the untriggered stops pending orders).

This is where I need your help - could you please debug it and make sure that the EA ALWAYS IMMEDIATELY issue a fresh First Order eveytime that the previous First Order has been closed by hitting on the SL.

The First Order MUST always be re-issued, otherwise the whole egy is defeated.

I hope you guys will help me out here and by so doing, everybody also benefit from that - believe me, that EA is quite PROFITABLE and low-risk it will never blow up your account - as long as you always place the SL for your subsequent Orders.

Hope to hear from you guys.

    Thanks very much.

I will take a look at the D1 candles soon before or after it closes and with the help of Bollinger Bands STOCH (or some other indiors of your choice) - I will just roughly guess what direction the price will move in another 24 hours - when I think it will go up, I'll use the Buyer EA vice versa. NEVER use both Buyer Seller on two separate charts at the exact same time - its idiotic to do so. Don't worry about getting the direction place on - the EA is flexible and can cope with practically any scenarios. After that is completed, I will let it operate for another 24 hours. The following day, I'll do the rough figure again and again generally, no changes will be required - but when I believe the trend had reversed, I'll close up all of the open trades on that pair (you can well afford to do that because of this exact nature/egy used from the EA, the losses incurred by force closing them are nicely covered by the tremendous profits already made by then - difficult for me to explain, try it and you'll know what I mean).

That I will attempt to clean everything up on Friday however if the drawdowns are substantial, I would just leave them as they are - the EA can easily cope with them when reopen again on Monday.

    Its that simple really.

Try it out and you'll know what I mean.

    Hi reteid2222,

Can we do it through this thread rather than through skype like I want everyone to benefit from this. Thanks very much for your sake anyway.

I shall explain the simple approach I take to trade the EAs in my next article.
