Any options traders here? Want to discuss trading options? Not sure if this thread will go anywhere. Then I'll be very happy, if I loe one trader incliqforexwho wishes to share some decent options trading ideas.

I am not a really complied options dealer - been trading options m/l full time for only the past year or so. I make money consistently, although I am a beginner. So I am not out to be anybody's guru. And I'm not looking for you. I enjoy learning by doing.

I don't wish to invest much time talking options in general, for example, what's an alternative? Why trade options? N - but I'll find those topics from the way in this post. There was another thread about options trading oncliqforexawhile back and that dealer laid out some excellent ideas for beginners - worth a look if this is you:

Also, if you are relatively new to options trading I highly recommend you get on the CBOE site and make use of the free instruction and trading tools that are there:

Some good books to begin with:

Thus, wait, dude, this can be a forex website, why are you talking about options?

Well, of course it's possible to trade options on anything - stocks, FX, metals, indices, financials, ags - almost anything that deals on the futures and stock markets. And, as our friend was able to say, It's all one trade.

So that is one thing I enjoy about binary options: there's plenty of variety available to you in the event that you need or want it. You can find good deals as I am if you are into analysis. But the main reasons I have gotten m/l an options dealer are these:

1) Risk Control: Normally talking, and for me anyhow, trading options has compelled me to reside within defined risk parameters for every trade. I never, ever have uncontrolled trades. I get my ass handed to mepersonally, and undoubtedly, but it is on my terms.

Two) Tax functions: I trade options from several accounts. IRA and brokerage accounts accounts. I am at daytrading level ($25k) on one account and construction towards there on the others. What I like is the idea of trading from the Roth IRA accounts. I could not trade spot fx from the IRA's, but options trading is permitted. There are methods to beat the taxman, however this really is. So my focus is on building those Roth accounts.

OK, so enough generalities by way of introduction. I want to hear about what you are taking a look at, if you are doing some options trading.
