Any experimental physicist would inform you the number one instrument for assessing an electrical sign is a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). For people who are not knowledgeable about the notion, an FFT split it apart, and then can take a sign in the time domainname. Since electrical signals are extremely similar to cost information (they oscillate and they are filled with sound), I was wondering whether anyone has ever attempted to examine price data with fourier Analysis.

On a seperate subject, there are also plenty of sound cutting methods in experimental physics, such as dithering, and adding white noise into a signal (in this situation, price motion). Has anyone tried either of those techniques?
