I decided to publish an EA I spent 6 months coding.

It functions on EUR/USD M15 with at least 100.01 currency units as the account balance.

Hoping somebody will improve it

SyFirst_Grid uses 6 indiors

1- Center Of Gravity
It allows the EA to perform a price action analysis on 3 different units of time (defined in the settings) in order to choose if market is trending/ranging.

Two - BBflat
This indior provides the EA an information on the current volatility as it attempts excessive behaviours to go into a trade.

3- ADX
The EA uses this one as a sign filter.

4- ATR
The intent of incorporating ATR inside this EA is to let adaptative behavior according to market conditions. It affects, as an Example, Trailing Amounts and Grid Activation Levels.

5- Pivot Steam
The interpretation of the is de-activated for now.

6- Iris Index (integrated in the EA)
This indior processes M5 info and defines whenever there's an interesting action based on price action.

The way it works

Computing all these info gives this EA the ability to screen dozens of different patterns in order to obtain an edge.
Once it spotted among them, a countdown is set to get a duration defined by the user in the configurations. In this time, the EA waits to get a spike in volatility before launching an order.
If the trade goes against us, a grid system is initialized to manage the recovery.

Backtests

I backtested SyFirst_Grid using TickStory and attained a 99.90% quality . I prefer to not provide you with the results and let you discover the energy behind it on your own.
All I can say is it's pretty impressive!

The one thing you need to do is to change each Magic Number to your new pair because every orders must have a distinct ID...

hi, I have encountered an issue once I tried to correct all of the margin percentage to 0.05. But it had been not able to open trades. The journal shows uninit rationale 5. May I know how to solve this? thanks. Hello let raise the margin more than 0.05% to reach 0.01 lot size that is the minimum allowed by your broker.... I guess.
If you place margin percent to 0.05% with $100000 account then... 0.05% it should work
If account balance is $10000 then 0.5 percent should work fine

There is not a tp egy.... A winning run is handled by breakeven point to protect the profit and shut the trade from triggered conditions that are implied

Never be bothered by choosing a Margin Percent too high, it may be dangerous for your account as this robot needs some space to operate properly.

I intend to reduce this risk by including a function I am already using on my new job...

you can get around this situation:
1)Buy_capitalizing open price 1.05619 10 lots size
two )Sell_protection_ open price 1.05470 30 lots size
Unfortunately after having triggered the market protection. . The price changes its road and yields to go up. . The deal is growing too dangerous...
Waiting to empathize the buy and depart sell_protection_ultimate alone is a game of opportunity 50/50 and I want to stop the deal before this occurs
Where set the StopLoss? .... In a price between 1.05619 and 1.05470
A bit of mathematics:
1.05619 - 1.05470 = 0.00149
30 lots - 10 lots = 20 lots
at price 1.05470 reduction would be = 10 lots*0.00149*100000 = -1490$
at price 1.05619 reduction would be = 20 lots*0.00149*100000 = -2980$
From the EA:
As said if there are two orders.... Then these will probably be closed if the reduction of the orders is larger then the Loss based on COEFF*-2980
Additionally there is a fixed SL = 20% also ( I set to be safe a little more)... 20 percent of account( 10000 profit from elderly security ) = -2000 or approximately
With COEFF set to 0.8
0.8*-2980=-2384
0.6*-2980=-1700.... You have to ch by the choice that works the best for protecting your Equity
Throught the placing of COEFF% at the set choice of this the EA you may select at which reduction you need close orders
From the past: the EA waits and begins to work when the two orders I had been speaking above.... Are triggered by SYFirst
Any of you have distinct account Equity... lots size and type of account and leverage. . .and so on
I hope I haven't confused the Math
Does make sense for you personally? Or some other critics or doubt.... Let me know

Cuold someone post syfirst out of 09 january's trades till now on EU/US?

I've demo 2 position open short and 2 long, totally is a bit brief. (with no Giorgio's equity prtection)
I had to halt the vps at which the machine in running for hours now so I am not sure the position it is holding now are right or because of stop of this machine now.

Furthermore I am interest to know if Symphoenix run at the past this EA with actual money.

Hi Pastait

The max amount of opened orders is 2 for pair.... In your case it appears wrong for EURUSD.... I can not say which is the issue.
If you read old articles no other man here maintained such one.
Primarily I suggest to remove Indiors out of your chart. It isn't needed to maintain them showed from the chart.
Then reset EA.Close old ones (EURUSD -- of course). . Assess your Ram memory that is complimentary in Task handling.
I can not say anything .

niw I understand the answer of my own question. After the target for protection low was struck, it was a TP for the sell order and start a second sell with lotsize from the running buy trade. Plus it creates target for security high. And I understand what that will do when get struck.

My issue is that my funding is not big enough to handle that martingale style over and over not just because of the larger lot size, but the range (grid) always widened.

In a demo account, I got 60% profit in 3 weeks from several currency pairs.
However, the size of Intermediary and Ultimate orders without SL is really stressing. Could it be enhanced?
I haven't yet tried giorgio1448's interceptor.

Since I'm not a coder, I'm helpless to create any modifiions into the EA.
Thus, my humble petition to Symphoenix is, kindly think of a revised version, by considering all comments from other members.

I have implemented the EA to the majority of the major currency pairs in different time period.
Please go through the attached invoice and appraise.
It worked in our favor so far. It would give us more comfortable feeling if the SL is incorporated.
That's why I'm requesting Symphoenix to modify the EA, if at all possible, to add SL.

I have to try Giorgio1448's trade interceptor next working day.

Believe that.... As you set 20 percent is the Max loss.... but .... In the established option it is possible to select a different method of handling the orders:
that is.... Aspire to be apparent...

orders are moving against... fine. . And you do not think that they can reverse on your favour. . .ok... you may set an ulterior option to decrease the loss....
Attempt to set:....

COEFF = value between 0 and 1... 0.5 such as this will shut the 2 oders before you reach the max loss (depending from several variables: lots.... Equity
.... And open orders prices )

like I said this protection should be one final ratio prior to the impending ruin

Surely this EA makes profits and we all would like to keep them.... At a trending market there shouldn't be worries.... If a sideway ranging market should continue
then I wouldn't be quite as quiet.

I am trynng to simulate what's happen in case the VPS goies down for some reason as it has occurred to me few weeks ago.

So on the 19th of january while there was an open order on JPG/USD I declared the vps intentionally. At the what was looking fine but in a situation that is sideway for some reason the system did not open a order but an kind of order.

Then after few days on the same pair, it has opened onother initial position as the other position on the pair where not ther.

It'is hard to describe for me but I have the impression than in case of shut down it is not able to regain all the info required to regain a normal function.

Maybe someone could attempt to simulate the same situation. I hope this help to make more secure this great EA!

I utilized Equity_SyFirst from day one, but no action up to now on EU. I used the default settings, and believing it had been too much 20 percent of SL, although EU equally in -900 with three available orders, I introduced the SL to 5% and COEFF 0.2. However orders are still available.

One thing has happened in SyFirst EA... it could be vps or link issue with the line.... Any way Equity was coded for functioning with two orders and in your case it does not work correctly

I started trading this particular live with $300 account on initial settings and Euro as indicated. My account is up to $657. Currently in draw because if protective order hit and market reverses in first direction then can lose large as we know.

So that I'll have time to go thru entire thread afterwards but basically have any changes been made to code for a crisis exit/stop so entire account never wiped out or some other changes? So I run syfirst on EU chart A, and run equity on another EU chart right? Now wait until ea chart open two transactions buy and sell ultimate then automatically your equity ea on another chart will?

Btw I still dunno how and if syfirst will open a transaction for me. . Whats its logic before a trade?

all correct.... As regard the entry point or when it's triggered this is matter for Symphoenix who's the creator of the EA.... However do not expect a great deal greater than
3/10 bargains for week.... It is based on volatility.... More volatility then more bargains... or atmost this is precisely what I believe

Equity_SyFirst should work with any other EA.... The pair of Magic amounts is the bind between the....lets call master EA (your own EA ) and Equity_First

For instance in your system

First order sell at 100 1Lot -- commerce is agaist you
Second order buy 101 3Lo ------- commerce is with you until 101.1 okay.... Your system does nothing

then price go again against you -- 100.5
Currently Equity oversees the tade and will close the 2 orders depending from placing....

At 100.5 you are down for 3*(101-100.5) 1*(100.5-100)... and you're able to make use of dividend here

So to resume: Equity_SyFirst was coded with no SL and Equity_First mend a SL.... But there is no reason it isn't working in other situations.

It will give us more comfortable feeling if the SL is incorporated. That is the reason I'm requesting Symphoenix to alter the EA, if at all possible, to include SL. Type the Magic in order to maintain the sequenze... for example

For a single currency 17400. . 17401 . .17412 . . .17413 and so on

Yes you can add it.... But you need to add 1 copy of Equity_First for every pair of currencies ( in a different chart).... It could be to difficult for your RAM
Contemplate that SyFirst creates a lot of algorithm....

I checked the code using a friend and it would appear that the buy/sell capitalizing with magic number 16432 and 16433 is not coded into Syfirst EA therefore it is not likely to be placed

Likely is a function which is not realized yet.

So that your Equity protection need to be configured with the magic numbers of Protection and Ultimate

Perhaps Symphoenix could say someting about that kind of orders never coded.

I believe that is an intriguing ea, yet not completed, symphoenix is busy in other projects so we have to wait.

He said in the beginning that the system is analyzed on eur/usd, other pairs appears to be doing as well but I do not know the system sufficient to invest real money.

So I have closed all trades on 1st Feb., following one month of active trading.
See attached reports as on 1-Feb-2017, before and after closing the deals manually.

Subsequently I have opened again the auto-trader on 2nd Feb.. See attached report for the period 2-Feb-2017 to 10-Feb-2017. It is making loss now.

I had a peek in the transactions, seems strange the protection did not activate. It never occurred to me personally, don't have any idea about it.
Regarding the accumulative order closure, I just find a check from the configurations about Start hours and End hours, you can attempt to place alwyson to 0 and then choose the hours you enjoy

I have been around some time trying to exchange, and I have seen almost every type of system accessible.
When it comes to backtesting (if it be an EA or a manual system) you can not just test a period of many days/weeks/months.
You have to try up to as your own information will allow. Why? Because, the Market is changing. Not in ways in ways that are subtle, although necessarily.
This implies that whatever system you use can seem fantastic from the current environment, but eventually, a new market mood will come together and your system WILL choke.
Sorry to seem so dreary, but having written and tested a few EAs myself, you're come to that realisation finally.

Hello to all!

first of all thanks to Symphoenix for sharing this EA with us. I Have been analyzing this EA for 3 months now, 1000 deposit, lot sice of 0,05 with E/U, E/G G/U, U/CHF, G/J, U/J, E/J. Money managment I put to 0.
First week has been very great! 600 Profit in one week has been more then a person can dream , no large down draw, everything candies.
Subsequently the initial mess happend G/J reached to some unbelievable lots sice of 1.8 lot, it scrached ultimate sell defense (1,8 lot) by only 200 points and out there the market moved up until my acount was blown the first moment. Afterwards the market went down but it was to late already.

Everything I learned from this is that I have to decrease the lot sice for U/J, E/J and G/J drasticly to 0,02. Thinks went well first but J/U and J/E went wrong exactly the exact same way they simply scraced ultimate defense low by 200 to 250 stage and from there that the market moved up and up till it murdered the acount again.

I know that Symphoenix created that EA to get E/U only. I, however, can make great profit on E/J, U/J, G/J. I´m not a coder but I feel that a great observer. @Symphoenix can it be feasible to ajust the ultimate defense high and low by something like 300 stage, somehow I feel the EA would operate much better!

I attached the sy_firstgrid EA to a single and multiple charts such as EURUSD but I still have same problem which is that the SAD confront on the top right corner and therefore the EA didn't operate as expected. I attached the sy_firstgrid EA to one and multiple charts including EURUSD but I still have same issue which is the SAD confront on the top right corner and therefore the EA didn't operate as anticipated. I have been analyzing your EA previous few months at a demo account. What I discovered is that the EA fails to account for its conducting orders when the mt4 shutsdown and restarts. It simply leave the previous orders and begin afresh with new first order. This may be due to some bugs in the coding. Secondly the EA performance differs in dwell account due to various reasons like information feed from the ECN mt4, latency etc.. Can please those issues and make necessary correction from the codes?

I need few more orders added to the present orders outside Ultimate. We can keep the initial order lot size little. To increase the profitability we can add some more trending pairs like EURAUD, GBPAUD, GBPCHF. Trending pair choice can be drawn up from the average daily movement of price out of http://tinyurl.com/ycu62fhd.

Please check the code to add several additional orders. It can be a factor with number of highest number of orders. This will give flexibility to picked initial lot size and the no of orders needed to cover the break even.

I spent two decades on ching spikes by viewing display continuously and in the process developed backpain and neckpain and gave up viewing displays.
Ever since then, I am looking for an indior or EA that can transmit signals by push notifiion or email for me to exchange with big and dependable brokers.

Catching spikes is a 95% win match. But it does not work with retail MT4 brokers since they play against you by widening spreads and taking away profits.
I exchanged with Interactive Brokers (min deposit: US$10,000) and made too good to be true profits between 25% to 60 percent a month. The pair traded was GBPJPY.

I used MT4 platform along with my eyes to ch signs by creating a matrix of 8 pairs - GBP related pairs: GBPUSD, GBPEUR (utilizing mirror purpose ), GBPAUD, GBPNZD, GBPCAD, GBPCHF and USDJPY and EURJPY.

I waited at least 4 pairs to line up in same way to leap into probable Spike Train.

The hours were chosen Asian Hours only.
