The SL Offset from breakout candle extremum should be'50' maybe not 5
ATR MUL should be'7', not'0.7'

IMP: its only profitable on XAUUSD, please do not attempt it on any other pair. You may back test.

I discovered a conversion site which can convert the .ex4 into C# and where I can convert into cAlgo etc..

Only for this purpose I downloaded the Metatrader 4 applications but I am still unable to start the .ex4.

Can you tell us about the egy, why it works? I suggest logic behind this, since it sure seems great Split Candle: 1 HR candle that breaks the Low or high or valuable day.

LONG SETUP:
When the 1HR candle sticks above the top of break candle.
Establish the SL to LOW-50 pips of rest candle.
TP: 7 Times of Daily ATR

SHORT SETUP:

When the 1HR Candle closes below the low of break candle.
Establish the SL to high 50 pips of break candle
TP: 7 Times of Daily ATR

The EA takes only 2 transactions (BUY and SELL) in a time.
If the BUY transactions is open and running for profit, EA will not take BUY transactions, but keep to take SELL trades daily as per egy and vice versa.

I am no offense or disrespect o your desire to talk about your own work. The problem I have is with those that are fast in sharing not and EAs the source code. Any EA designed to work only on a certain pair or timeframe or a market condition is likely to fail. Its only a matter of time. Some might last for more or years but eventually it will fail. In my view, such generosity hurts to trying trader into relying on your work and much more importantly in your dependence to be to come in regards to supporting this EA. It is that all EAs and indiors will fail to work at some stage in the future by means of a patch or update release. These souls will be left in water in the event the original developer leave this forum and disappear. For that reason, I never get any code on forims. I am sure most of these have deliberate expiry date. And any EA egy every easily reengineered from open source code accessible and could be. I have discovered sc from lance developers who deliberately post junk EA with functionality that was inflated only to send PMs asking for work in the future. Therefore I am talking from personal experience for your readers I have bren scammed thrice in last 5 yrs. Out of source accessible here in order to develop my EA, I learnt MQL from scratch for this reason. Just sharing my experience. I would also never ever run compiled code with DLLs unless I examine the code . I really find no use of sharing published EAs freely on forums. Either guard it with their own life and keep it secret for their personal use or one needs to discuss their work.

Wow... I have just started trading this recently on the Daily TF although I attempted the 1hr and it didnt work for me... Except I utilize another EA. .
Same deal although... Divide the high of preceding Daily candle then buy and vice versa for a market. .

However, on the Daily TF using a 10pip PT and 5 pip SL includes a 50% win ratio... I have been doing a lot of backtesting within the last week using different settings from 2011 to today. . Running it within the year also months. . So far 10 pip profit and 5 pip stop loss and 20 pip profit and 10 pip stop loss has set out the outcomes. . Every month has been 50 ratio. .

Additionally, it functions on Silver Daily TF. .

Good to see I'm not the only person doing so... I will muck about with your EA and see how it goes...

if got the function to reverse the transaction after got signal it'd be traded, small TP. I forward test live acc 0.01 all missing. The EA does take opposite transaction if SL hit the exact same day. Trust me I've tried many options, before confirming the profitable ones.

I also used to believe in taking small profits and did make money, but 1 poor transaction took everything. Happened multiple times.

The EA preceding is just opposite, it takes multiple tiny losses, but 1 big profitable trade gets it back more profits. As clarified in the 1st post, I would suggest using the EA.

The EA has more choice, I've tried them all, but ended up at the loss., just stick to the initial post.

Hi abhirag. Thanks for sharing your EA. I have done a 1 year backtest of your EA from 01 Jan 2017 to 31 Dec 2017 with your preferred settings and 99.9% data quality. I think the result is about the same as your account. I think this is a profitable EA.

But I noticed from the result that the EA is taking the opposite trade even if a profitable commerce is still running. Case in point: Even a buy position is still open and in profit, the EA will start. You may observe this in the graph at which equity is high but the balance is slowly decreasing.

My suggestions:

1.) Prevent the EA from taking trades as soon as an PROFITABLE place exists.
2.) Allow EA to take more than one trade per direction (for example: 2 or 3 BUY positions).

I'm currently forward analyzing the EA on a micro account, however I'm testing other EA along with it. I can post it after. Hope this helps.

Hello, I've exported the Strategy Tester Report of this backtest above to Excel and eliminated the opposite trades whenever there's an open profitable position. Profitable commerce highlighted in Green. Trade that was opposite highlighted in Yellow. The theoretical result is twice the profit at the end of 1 year (refer to connected Graph).

Notably, the opposite rankings highlighted all resulted to losses.

Opposite trade highlighted in Yellow. The theoretical result is double the profit at the end of 1 year (refer to attached Graph). The positions highlighted all resulted to losses. image file
Thank you for feedback, we don't know which trade will strike the TP as its way from the price commerce triggered, the contrary trades are taken into as per egy to secure the profits you have made, too if the trend reverse without hitting the TP, the reverse trade is going to keep you covered.

I have tested taking multiple trades in same way and resulted in loss, hence got it removed from code.

There is also an choice to use trailing stops in EA should you prefer, but the results weren't persuasive so I dint use tracking stops.
