Support and Resistance (Barry) indior

the re-paints the previous three bars. Specifically, when a support or resistance level is drawn, this degree seems on the 3rd ster on that level's start. It paints this candle using a blue/red dotpaints and paints the 2 previous candles .

I'd love to edit this indior so that it comprises an AUDIO ALERT, if a new support/resistance degree first seems (on the start of the 3rd blue or red dot/candle). I just need the alert to noise once, in the exact same time as the 3rd (support or resistance) ster appears.

If anyone can help, I'm quite grateful.

I would just have it quit scanning bar 3 or 2. This will provide the fractal time before drawing on on the line to settle out.

This is most likely do to the indior utilizing the fractals, if you see how fractals pulls, it's founded on the low or high, if a new low or high is shaped on the next candle it will only move it on to this candle.

It's likely to produce the indior ignore the last few candles in an effort to get it to stop shing the lines.

I would have it stop scanning 3 or bar 2. That will give the time before drawing on on the line, to settle out.

Found some advice on how ifractals is calculated...


Fractal Technical Indior it is a string of at least five consecutive bars, together with the highest HIGH in the middle, and two reduced HIGHs on either side. The reversing set is a string of at least five bars, together with two LOWs on either side, which correlates to the fractal, and the LOW in the middle. The fractals are have High and Low values and are indied with the up and down arrows.


The Investor/RT Fractal indior relies upon the Bill Willi Fractal in the book Trading Chaos by Bill Willi, PhD. A fractal is a entrance technique that's traditionally defined as a bar which has two preceding and two following bars with lower highs (or lower highs, on a down movement).

Here is a short explanation of what the new variables do:

ShowChartAlerts
If this is set to true, it is going to permit the audio with text alarms in addition to the email alarms.

AlertEmailSubject
This ends an email for this as the topic. You have to setup your email first if you want to use this attribute. To login your MetaTrader terminal, then go to Tools Options Email Tab. Leave it blank if you don't want to use this attribute.

BarCount
I have added a barcount limitation so it will not plot this indior into each and every bar in history and consume every pc memory you've got. This manner wills operate more smoothly. Growing the BarCount will allow the indior to plot farther into history.

SignalAtBlueDot
This represents at which blue dot provides a service alert be sent out. Default value is set at 3, so it will send an alert if the 3rd dot is detected. It usually means it will send out an alert when the blue dot is detected if you place it . The first poster requests this attribute.

SignalAtRedDot
This represents at which red dot will a resistance alert be sent out. Default value is set.

ShowDotsOnScreen
If this is set to true, it is going to send a screen message into the top-left hand corner of your chart. Informing you of the current no. Of red and blue dots.

There are far better s/r indiors compared to Barry's like lively sr that does not use fractals or recalculate. .

Barry's uses fractals that will recalculate... it's not an insect.
