    130K, revision 32K from -4K with a specific reason.

Data cooked as for the pressure off bernanke. Desired security effects: rescue dollar out of the swamp / get recession from The Street (for a while?!?) .

Or can we actually believe things don't work that way?
    Actual 110K 89 = 199

    My take 130 32 = 162K - I overlooked by 37K

Well, close enough... The guys in US missed previous month's by 93K for God's sakes

That reminds me of the definiton of all http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy.

(I'll put away my geek eyeglasses before I get beat up during recess)
Actually, information entropy (hence minimalisation of assumptions/presumptions) is on your side of the debate phil. In science, a statement such as the 1 seekingthelight was making is of greater order entropy i.e he's making a claim that would require the markets to behave in a certain orderly manner in order for it to be true. Since the pure state of things is the fact that it is easier, and simpler, for the market to never understand what the hell he's referring to, the burden of evidence is on his side, and your skepticism is well founded.

The world shrinks into the easiest fit - the normal state of things. It's the extraordinary that needs trader action/whatever to cause this, and the greater the entropy/more outrageous the claim the likelihood of the world being in that state. This is the logical foundation for murphy's law: everything that could go wrong will go wrong(being correct takes something to be true, being wrong does not ).

And every forex trader understands this at heart

the higher the entropy/more outrageous the claim, lower the likelihood of the world being in that nation.
This sounded VERY familiar to me personally by changing just 1 sentence:

the more outrageous the claim, reduce the likelihood of the account being in that nation.

(P.S. it's, no . . .not sure which light it will wind up being, there is always that headlights of a freight train option. . .or anything else....no impliion of only 1 option intended, so no . .)

    Geekspeak's trendy. .
In a matter of speaking yes. Entropy scientifically explains the increasing randomness of nature from an energy perspective. Ice hockey is melting. Ice has a crystalline structure and is very orderly. It melts into water and the randomness increases. Not to scare anyone but the ground is constantly increasing the amount of disorder as electricity is changed from one kind to another.

Sadly, an engineer's misunderstaning of entropy (or more accurately an isentropic process) was among the top elements in the near collapse of the Three Mile Island nuclear plant. OK, I believe I've said enough. I am not sure how anybody can tie this back to the NFP report. I believe my first point was that randomness is preferred by nature despite our attempts to keep everything in order.
