As far as I can observe, the PA is ing between a flat channel following a solid down move--PA has touched 3 occasions the Service line (blue)--that the PA could break thru this blue line on 4th effort when it fails to go past the upper resistance line (red)--

By looking at last week COT I believed the AUD will weaken in value, you mentioned in your earlier post that AUD will be bearish, can you comment exactly what happened to the AUD/USD pair in the last times when AUD strenghened strongly from the USD?

Did the holidays had any effect on the COT or where there any significant news about any of these currencies?

Did you take a peek at the AUD news releases this week?
They were fundamentally to AUD's benefit.
Also Gold went into an all time high.
