Luckily competition between banks have lowered the transaction costs over recent years. When you buy/sell at market you extract a few liquidity from it. When one thousand traders(there are about 4 million retail traders based on citibank's research) are after buy at 1.0001(say the volume here's 100million), the first individuals who get there'll find the price(partly ) and the others will be slipped to the next price....

Stop running, if identifies successfully has two benefits. First: you dont get struck, and have a opportunity to set your stop in a safer location...(right where it happened). Second: the motions afterwards, are inclined to be strong, cause... guess who is behind it... There is a definite advantage in the trap... BTW: the easiest way to identify them: just examine the obvious places where retailers would put their stops... sweet little sitting ducks,enjoying the sunny day. . .unaware of this hunter behind the bush....

We're the sheep , however the point is that.

It's illegal when we were all running the same race. But we aren't. . Unless there are several here who have billions trading the markets. When that changes, i.e: everyone is trading using the same equity and using the same conditions then it is unfair.

I believe it is funny when people are complaining here.

No problem running the identical race as the elephants, the challenge is if they take shortcuts at the others expense but if you would rather stay blind and think that everything is ok, I assure you, it is fine for me and the rest of the planet.
