thread: Newbies Mistakes

i am back!

Welcome back and here to stay, ...
What I discovered recently, a negative effect of being profitable, is that the person is taken from this activity and usually sent in a holiday, give freedom and free time, ... It should be quite bad, since so many pick the other way!
I seem to get hit by this unwanted effects too! I try all the probable ways like go holiday and hope to be profitable after!

So, no news then
the effect in my trading would be the same, only assumed it was by that...

this 2 weeks I might have some nice trading, did quite good on my personal account, with a single real nice day. . .that if traded full scale, and across the portfolio would make a nice effect for the month. But overall things are up, and there is still another few days made out of the month...I can nevertheless make something.
Most important it is a profitable month so far.
(and of course my buddy had a great time here in Thailand, and that it was fine to see them!)

i am back! Vaion is over, and using a short 8 hours of driving straight back at home. Coming weekend, I will post a couple more pictures from the second half of the trip. Apart from a few tiny trades in my personal account, there was no trading generally. Now missed the fantastic opportunity of the GBP news, although just barely, but the CAD news also... however, just to return to the game, did some tiny entries on the aftermath of the news, for a cool 0.11%. Being Friday, and me feeling tired and rusty the exact same time, I think best to call it a day...

Some holiday photos... Started with Bangkok, and temples. . .then some more temples in Ayutthaya. . .then Chonburi. . .new, older, Chinese... No graphics out of Pattaya, to maintain the journal G rated rather than R.. . But let's just say the city provides certain fun stuffs ( or is that amateurs?) in RR. Sometimes things happen when the least anticipated... Like while being on vaion ( still). Literally just an hour ago I got a email from Fixi, that they increase the alloion... And. . .and. . .wait for this... Effective as of now, the new level is 100x multiplier of my master acct there, and as this alloion is worth approx 1.2 million . So, yes, 7 digit, and for real! Overall surprise!! Was expecting a test end of March, with possibility to double the prior 250k alloion... Of course, keep in mind that the -3.5% maximum DD limitation doesn't...

What a gorgeous travel PF... it's actually amazing to me in this same forum folks are dabating to departure if it's possible to be profitable. Meanwhile, in 8 weeks you're already in the 7's. Congratulations and keep killing it!

As I said above, whatever happens in the future, up until today the travel itself fulfilled a fantasy.
There is a lot of debate what is possible and what is not possible, for people who paid attention it ought to stand it's possible to accumulate around 7 digit prices starting from 5-10k, and making single digit monthly gains for a year.
(I had little longer to begin with, and once in a while per month struck double digit profit, but this isn't the issue to focus on, as far as the rest, actually).

Thus, what is next?
I shall exchange as always, and there is still some landmarks to reach, or could call them private goals.
But I believe as in trading itself, need to look things rationally.
This circumstance it means sometimes it's easier to reach the top than stay on the top, with more motivation driving you. Like in game.
Winning the Olympic gold is a fantastic motivation, but is winning another 4 yes afterwards, or a third, exactly the same motivating force? Often not.
On the other hand following some medals a new motivation can come to play, like being the best, winning the most medals...

The analogy of course only a play on thoughts. I still have plenty of those landmarks to attain, but one has been filled, namely getting fixi alloion to 1 million .
It is only preparing mentally for the next, in my way, shing from one goal to the next, and trying to maintain my drive forward.

Holiday is getting slowly to the finish, maybe for the better, cos becoming small sunburned.
