Hello everybody,

I have a situation using a broker, on a live trading account, at which on four events, under large volatility, that the platform's host time is 1 minute (5 minute in max) off the actual market time. I'd positions opened during this, this happened in a circumstance at which tick charts were just stalled and stopped going, and then 30-60 seconds later, they simply update again then stall. I can reiterate that my link was completely fine, since I'd demo accounts with MT4 on other brokers, demoning no delays, no tick by tick failure at all. I also have used my iPad to link with MT4, my iPad does not use exactly the same wifi as my PC, totally various service provider and infrastructure, and there was also a lag about the prices fed onto my phone. I dropped a considerable amount of money because of these lags, and I find it rather weird how this has happened, because it is impossible. Broker explained that their host are up 99.9% during that day, that is fine I assume, their servers were really up, since I was able to authentie my login on MT4 with my PC and Phone, therefore, yes host were up, but the tick by tick data was incorrect. The confusing thing is that this broker is big and famous, and I simply don't know why this has happened, but I'm rather disheartened and am looking for all fellow trader's guie on what I should do and how should I claim against my broker of the freeze/delay, since what they are saying is just a bit irresponsible.
